A 3D Printed Ka-Band High-Efficiency Wide-Slit Antenna Array for High-Power Microwave Applications

A Ka-band high-power waveguide wide-slit antenna array with high efficiency and capacity is proposed in this paper. The uses a vertical transition structure as part of the feed network, which improves compactness power antenna. 2 × 8 was simulated, fabricated by 3D printed technology, measured. measured reflection coefficient less than −10 dB range 30.4–30.9 GHz, tested gain at 30.8 GHz 25.8 dB, corresponding aperture larger 80%. This can be applied millimeter-wave systems.
